Terms of Use

Welcome to Verem Platform. By accessing or using any platform service — including Void (the unified authentication center) and every associated project and game — you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before creating your account or using the services.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

Access to and use of Verem Platform services are conditioned on the acceptance of and compliance with these Terms of Use. By creating an account or using any platform service, you declare that you have read, understood and agreed to all the terms set out herein.

If you do not agree with any of the terms, you must not use Verem Platform services.

2. Description of the Services

Verem Platform is a digital entertainment hub that offers:

• Void: a unified authentication system that lets users access every project and game in the ecosystem with a single account, available at accounts.veremplatform.org;
• Games and Projects: digital entertainment experiences developed and distributed under the Verem Platform brand;
• Unified Profile: a system of achievements, history and centralized digital identity across the ecosystem.

Verem Platform is part of the VEREM ecosystem and may integrate features related to the VEREM token and the VEREM Foundation, subject to their own terms and conditions.

3. Eligibility

To use Verem Platform services, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age;
• If you are over 13 and under 18, have the consent of a legal guardian;
• Be able to enter into binding contracts under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction;
• Not be barred from using the services under applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. User Account

4.1 Account creation

To access the services, you must create a Void account, providing truthful, accurate and up-to-date information. Creating accounts with false information or on behalf of third parties without authorization is prohibited.

4.2 Account responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Keeping your password and access credentials confidential;
• All activities carried out with your account;
• Immediately notifying Verem Platform of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 Single account

Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions is prohibited and may result in the termination of all associated accounts.

5. Rules of Conduct and Acceptable Use

When using Verem Platform services, you agree not to:

• Use the services for illegal, fraudulent or unauthorized purposes;
• Harass, threaten, abuse or harm other users;
• Post offensive, discriminatory, pornographic content or content that incites violence;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts, systems or data without authorization;
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify any platform software;
• Use bots, scripts or automated tools without express authorization;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the services;
• Sell, transfer or assign your account to third parties;
• Use the services for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

All content available on Verem Platform services — including, without limitation, logos, trademarks, design, text, images, software, games and interfaces — is the exclusive property of Verem Platform or its licensors, protected by intellectual property laws.

The user is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to access and use the services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Reproduction, distribution, modification or creation of derivative works without the prior written authorization of Verem Platform is expressly prohibited.

7. User Content

By submitting any content to the platform (avatars, usernames, comments, etc.), you grant Verem Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display that content in the context of the services.

You represent that you own the rights to the content submitted and that it does not violate third-party rights or applicable laws. Verem Platform may remove any content that violates these Terms.

8. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an inseparable part of these Terms of Use. By accepting these Terms, you also agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to the Services

Verem Platform reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to:

• Modify, suspend or discontinue any service or feature;
• Update, fix or improve the platform's games and systems;
• Set usage limits or restrict access to certain services.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

Verem Platform may suspend or terminate your account, at any time and for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms of Use;
• Suspected fraudulent or abusive activity;
• The user's own request;
• Prolonged inactivity (over 24 months).

Account termination results in the loss of access to all associated services and data. We may retain certain data as required by law or by our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Verem Platform does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that they will fully meet your expectations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Verem Platform shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the services, including loss of data, revenue or profits.

Verem Platform's total liability to the user, for any cause, is limited to the amount paid by the user for the services in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the damage, or USD 100.00 (one hundred US dollars), whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Verem Platform and its representatives harmless from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debts arising from: (i) your use of the services; (ii) your violation of these Terms; (iii) your violation of third-party rights.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a prominent notice on the platform at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the services after the effective date of the changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by generally accepted principles of international commercial law. In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under internationally recognized arbitration rules, conducted in English. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

16. General Provisions

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Verem Platform regarding the use of the services;
• If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force;
• Verem Platform's failure to exercise any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such rights;
• These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and Verem Platform.
